I've had feedback from Shades of Green and so far its been positive. Many thanks to the folks who gave up your precious time. As for the fact that you seem to like it makes me wonder if your were drunk at the time Ok, on to Third Sight. The new beginning has been typed up and pasted into the old MS. Great! No. the f*cking laptop appears to be infested with a million viruses so I can't do bugger all on it until they are wiped off. The next one will be called A Mirrored Blade. Previously titled - A Cook's Knife Reflection but that sounded crap. The story note summary was finished two years ago, now it's time to expand it. It's good to be writing again, let's hope the self doubt doesn't back in and f*ck everything up again.

Self doubt is what makes us human. And have a karma for your Facebook kindness.

Thanks for that Shaun.
Right, The mirrored Blade write-up is progressing at a steady 1000 words per day. I'd like to write more but, 1000 is better than none at all.
I've finally got a day off work tomorrow (Yay!) So i'll be starting on the Third Sight edit. Wish me luck.

Third Sight Edit is out of the way. I found it to be a very odd experience, you see, i've never REALLY sat down and done a full edit. Yeah, I know how weird that sounds but, it's true. Just how good my edit is? Now that is a good question. Still adding 1000 words to the Mirrored Blade Story per day.

Tell us more about Mirrored Blade...

Have you any idea just how hard that question is for me to answer?
A condensed synopsis is so hard to do, BUT, I will have a go.
If you are bad, you go to Hell, if you are good you go to Heaven. Oh really? You don't, both of you go to the Realm. Both of you. Two of everybody, good and evil.
They thought their ancestors had sealed the breach hundreds of years ago. They followed the rituals, obeyed the rules but most thought that their secret little society was no more harmful than the local church drama group.
What else could Andrea Fisher want? She had an adoring family and a great house. Her life was close to perfect, then she found an ancient knife left on her husband's desk.

Welding on the flesh of the Mirrored Blade had been put on the back burner for a couple of days so I can wrap my head round this short story for the alphabet anthology. I should be on with it now instead of typing this.

So far? Well the story is just half a skeleton at the moment Steppsy. Missing a skull, rib cage and a femur. Give me a few days and I'll email you it.

Mirrored Blade is still progressing at a steady 1000 words per day and according to my little desktop calculator, I've written about 24,000 words so far. not bad I think for just under a months work PLUS I wrote a short story in between. Right, I want to tell you about a little experiment that I've been cooking up. You see, I've never actually been able to write a full novel without breaks. The three I've written so far far have taken me a little over three years but I bet for two years of that time, I wasn't even THINKING about writing. I have a grasshopper like mind. Hell I spent three months not even thinking about BHN. What was I doing instead? f*ck knows, learning German, building model tanks... you name it. So, once Mirrored Blade is typed up into first draft, I'm going to start on my quest to write a novel of around 70,000 to 90,000 words in one go. Wish me luck please.
