Except, of course, on the I Win section.
Ha ha ha.

I'm up to 40,000 words on Shades of Green so I thought, f*ck it! I'll plug the internet back in and rest my poor aching brain.

I'm knackered . I've been up since 5.30 and i really do need my bed. on the writing front, i was doing great until today. I polished off chapter 17 yesterday and was looking forward to starting the next one today.
Well that worked out well...Not. All iv'e done today is about 100 words, that's my limit. My worst output since I started Shades of Green back in April.
Bugger it. I could get a few hundred more words done IF I REALLY TRIED but I just can't be f*cking arsed.
I'm knackered.

Ok, Shades of Green started out as a 21 chapter story, the treatment contained 21 chapters which means that I should writing the last chapter now.
One more chapter was inserted earlier on and another one will have to be written after the one I'm on now but still, I'm nearly there. (Grin)

I've just put the pen down after completing chapter 19.
A big grin is plastered all over my face.

I have one more chapter to write and then the act of pen in hand is done and dusted. Oh great. Then I'll have three notepads full of tiny writing to transcribe into Word. The real fun will then begin.

Shades of Green is finished. At least the pen to paper bit anyway. I have a day off on Sunday, so I'll start brushing up on my Microsoft Word skills.
The next one is called A Cook's Knife's Reflection.
I wrote the treatment last year right after I finished writing Third Sight but didn't do anything with it. It's about time it got expanded. After all, I need something to do at work on my break don't I!

I'm back to typing Shade of Green into Word. In the last fours days, i hammered in over 17,000 words. The most I've done since... ages. I'm back to work tomorrow so I doubt I'll get much done on the writing front.
Bugger.

I'm 41 tomorrow. I'm hoping to have the first draft of Shades of Green finished by then. Yay! A 70,000 document full of typos, grammatical errors and plot inconsistencies! Then the complete re-write of Third Sight awaites! Joy.

I re-read the Third Sight MS and found myself cringing and smiling in equal amounts. It's a 1st person horror romp through the streets of a fictional northern town. When I first wrote it, I wanted to make the lead a bit of a wide boy. A strong character but unpredictable. Unfortunately, he turned into a complete cock. The readers were unable to identify with him so My mission is now to make him a little more likeable. Oh, and the beginning was pants too so my first task is to throw the first few thousand words in the bin and start again.

I'm on the net through my wife's phone and it is rather slooooooooooooow!
Anyway. I'm about halfway through to the new beginning of Third Sight, I seem to be averaging about 1000 words per day. I don't suppose that's too bad considering it has been awhile since my fiction pen flowed upon paper. Let's hope I don't get distracted this time and manage to get the f*cker past first draft.
