How about a Quote of the Week section?
Could be anything - literary fiction, famous words from historical characters, etc. Anything that'll motivate us - or warn us...

How about a queries, requests and questions section? Basically somewhere where people can ask the kind folk on here questions.
Such as "Who was it that wrote that novel that involved a giant badger, which after rampaging for 100 odd pages, ended up being cornered in a yoghurt factory and destroyed by an avalanche of strawberry pieces?"
or
"Where is the best place to find/buy myself a copy of 'Weazles on the Rampage'?"
or
"Is it true that Shaun Hutson keeps Ramsey Campbell in a cage under the kitchen table?"
or
"Can anyone scan the cover of 'Nazi Princesses Never Say No' so I can add it to my review?"
N.B. All questions are fictional and should not be answered or investigated unless you have more time on your hands than you honestly know what to do with. In which case, please do investigate any or all of the above. Thank you.

Another suggestion for a new category...
Horror Events and Meet-Ups Up and coming horror events and meet-ups
What do you think? People could post up about any up and coming events, film release dates, and organise meet-ups with the forum community.

Tell me to shut up if you want...but I had another possible idea.
Perhaps you could create some sub-categories under the 'Book Reviews' section for the most popular British authors. This will make it easier to locate threads on authors for when you want to locate a particular review or add your own review to a book. Any author that does not have their own sub-category will just be posted as normal in the main section.
Possible author sub-categories: - Guy N Smith - James Herbert - Shaun Hutson - Mark Morris - Ramsey Campbell - Dennis Wheatley
What do you think? Would make the review section more user friendly.

Oh yeah...and you moderator boys would need to spend a few minutes moving the current reviews into their right sections if you did this (i.e. moving all the GNS reviews into his sub-category).

The more eagle-eyed of you may have noticed we have a magic number. That's right - the total number of topics/threads on the BHN forum is now six hundred and sixty six! How very appropriate.

Ah. Well, it was 666 - thank God for the new thread on eReaders and Kindles to steer us away from the Dark Path. ;D
Better luck next time, Satan!
