Last time I was at this board I unhappily distinguished myself by killing a 'build a new monster' thread at the second post by taking it (and self) too seriously and thereby emptying the board. Poor little sod. It might have grown up to be a decent thread if I hadn't snuffed out its existence as soon as it appeared. I lie awake a lot at night. Anyway, this is supposed to be an introduction (I thought I'd better, 'cos I still haven't). I noticed there are a lot of GNS fans here. (I liked Manitou Doll; other titles I usually keep a respectful distance from.) Willie Miekle's here somewhere, and I found a damn good short story of his in Des Lewis's Null Immortalis recently. Another new book I have in front of me is Bully by A J Kirby, about a soldier returning from Afghanistan to face a new kind of horror in the place where he grew up. Looks good. I write and draw, and I put out a small press magazine. Rog

Welcome Mr Pile,
Nice to have you on board. How's TTMC going these days? (I see that you're using the cover artwork of issue 2 as your avatar).
Anyway...you killed no threads squire. Sometimes threads just dry up all of a sudden. And then weeks or even months later someone will post again on the thread and the ball gets back in motion. That's just how it is.
Now, use the forum to your advantage and get advertising TTMC...

Thanks, guys.
Y'know other people manage to skip around different boards and still find time to write stuff. Somehow I never got the hang of it. Sooner or later the old material's gonna run out.
Promises...

Thanks for the kind words... you're the first person I know to have read it :-) Turn Again is a genuinely good story. I've seen your name in various places over the years but never yet read one of your stories, and had no idea what to expect. The story was one I enjoyed, and a good start to what looks like being another fine anthology from Des. Just embarrassed myself again by accidentally double-posting at Shocklines and finding there was no way to properly delete the surplus post. I think everyone hates this promotion lark!
