Nice to meet you guys indeed.. ;D So who am I? My name's Simon Marshall-Jones, and I'm a writer, working in the quiet, quirky supernatural/ghostly/fantastic realist/speculative/horror fiction vein, and also an artist. I also write CD reviews for two music webzines, and book reviews for bookgeeks.co.uk and Horror Reanimated. My first story will be published in "A Dream of Stone", an anthology of post-modern ghost stories in the vein of MR James, this summer from Paraphilia Books. I also used to run a small independent label, FracturedSpaces, which specialised in the quirkier, noisier, avant-garde end of things. I am also into tattoos- so far having had my head, back, arms and chest covered (with more to come). I also collect books, and I like reading, good food and good wine, science, music, art and travelling. That's about it - but anything else you want to know about me, just ask.....

Welcome to the forum good sir. Just seen your above post.
We have much in common.
I too dabble with tattooing, reviewing, early industrial (i.e. Whitehouse, SPK, Throbbing Gristle etc) and a bit of writing.
Next you'll be telling me you do suspensions too!
Kindred spirits? Hahahaha! I think you're going to fit in well here...

Hey Dreadlocksmile... nice to meet you!!
I don't do suspensions, although having aid that I DID consider doing that at one time, many many years ago, as part of my final year degree dissertation, before I had a stroke... but I wouldn't venture anything like that now... plus I doubt my wife would be too too happy with my hanging upside down from meathooks while people are visiting... LOL
Yeah, I do a bit of writing and whatnot... at that stage in my career where I see what other people are writing and having crises of faith every couple of days.. LOL... I'll get there one day, but it won't be anytime in the near future... just spend most of it practising and sending stories out and hoping someone will catch one... LOL...
Went to see Current 93 and Nurse With Wound last Friday... have been waiting to see them both for a very long time... great stuff...
