All us fans eagerly awaiting Guy N Smith's new book NIGHTSPAWN are baffled. It's a paperback due for release this month by a firm called ASWANG PRESS. But no-one's heard of them. A googley search will throw up references to Guy N Smith as well as the definition of Aswang (a witch/vampire-like creature from Filipino folklore). But no mention of a publishing house with this name. So one of the theories is that this a self-publishing venture by Guy and Black Hill Books. Maybe, maybe not. I'm sure we'll find out soon...but if anyone has some ideas, please post them here. Thanks.

Well I think you've covered the ideas I had. There is ONE thing that did strike me though. It's well known that GNS never goes on the internet and a new publishing house appears and yet there doesn't appear to be an online footprint for this company... coincidence?

Oddly enough, if this was a self-pub venture, surely he'd have said something at WHC? Or even issued a press release? Either way, the mystery behind this is fuelling even more interest in the forthcoming book, which can only be a good thing.

A good point, although I would still like to know just who they are.
