I worked at Lloyds TSB. Still planning the appeal, but am too busy drowning in overdraft fees and unpaid bills to work on it as much as I should.

Have you signed on as unemployed yet?
If not - DO IT NOW.
They only pay from your date of application, not from the date you lost your last job!

I found that out to my cost many years ago when I left a two week gap between leaving Exel and signing on. Don't let the fact that you were sacked put you off. You automatically qualify for Jobseekers if you haven't left voluntarily.
