A non-book related question.... When is Horrorcide gonna be released on the public? la la la i'm not listening I'M NOT LISTENING... official release date (according to imdb, lol) is now "some time this year". I've given up trying to edit the damn thing myself and turned it over to a professional, who will hopefully do a better (and more timely) job than i have. I can only apologise for the ridiculous length of time this stupid project has taken. ;D

You don't have to answer this one if you don't want to. Have you ever based a character who die a horrible death, or who is just a total jerk, on someone you really didn't like? if so did they ever figure it out? it's been pointed out to me that i don't like doctors and tend to treat them badly in my stories... ;D i treated my poor long suffering partner very badly in Terror Island - he was a zombie wearing a number 23 t-shirt who basically got horribly abused for the whole book. I'm still apologising for that one. you nasty nasty woman

i'm not nasty, he asked me to put him in the book! and he asked to be a zombie. I, um, just made him a bit of a special zombie. Jim - wow, that sounds scary! do you need to go near animals with rabies? because that would be terrifying (I have a very real phobia of rabies, lol).

As a writer of horror fiction, do you believe in he things that go bump in the night yup. I'm scared of the dark and of powercuts and especially of werewolves (also anteaters, but that doesn't come up in everyday life very often). If i'm in a new place i always check under the bed before i go to sleep, and i prefer sleeping with the lights on. I'm also horribly superstitious. I've never seen any proof whatsoever of ghosts or ghoulies or whatever, but absence of proof is not proof of absence, particularly at 3 o'clock in the morning. i'd like to think an overactive imagination is a bonus. At least that's my excuse. ;D

WHAT TO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? sleep. Drink wine. Drink wine and then sleep. Watch terrible 80s kickboxing movies. Hmm, what else? Read. Alphabetise my comic collection. Try to wrestle the x-box away from the men in my life so i can have five minutes of Beautiful Katamari. Torment my cat. Drink more wine. I don't actually have a lot of spare time, since i work full time and i've got a 10 year old son. If i want any time to myself i have to stay up an extra hour or so at night, or (like i'm doing now) get online during my coffee breaks.

don't work there anymore as i can work less hours and earn more money and spend more time with my famly as a nightshift duty manager for Morrisons. The rabies part was a walking in the park compared to having to get a sample from a cow with BVD. a cow with bovine viral diarrhoea is not a fun experience
