Thought I'd start a thread for these fine and not so fine folk. Here's one. www.dorchesterpub.com/The head cheese at Leisure books have done some great work in trying to revive the horror market over in the states. It's a bloody shame we don't have an equivalent over this side of the pond.

New contest: National Novel Writing Competition www.nanowrimo.org/Fun! Nothing too heavy, nothing to be judged too harshly by. But it's 50,000 words so some sort of self-discipline is called for. I'm going to have a crack - so c'mon, all you aspiring writers - get scribblin'! Thanks to Chris Harvey for this.

The House of Murky Depths has published three paperbacks by Sam Stone - she recently sold 63 books at a signing at Waterstone's in the Trafford Centre which put her as the the number 2 best seller in the shop (behind Jamie Oliver) for that day.
