Hi I don't like many books but the ones I do tend to be Horror, Sf and fantasy. It's a delight to be here and I'm looking forward to having a snoop around.

I play mostly solo. I started with Heavy Metal/progressive stuff like early King Crimson and slowly degenerated into traditional Scottish and Irish bands.

Welcome to the forum pal. Progressive rocker eh? Early Genesis float your boat? Pehaps a wee splash of the Grateful Dead? How about the Dutch group Focus?... I too love a bit of progressive rock.

HI everyone. You can always trust the horror board to be full of good karma.
I was a bit of an obsessive as a youth- I liked 'In the Court if the Crimson King' and the two other Sinfield albums. Basically epics appealed. I became a fan of Bowie - SF themes and my narrow musical life was stuck on these two for years. Focus, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Wishbone Ash, Marc Bolan, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop were all in there hitting but they were neither The Man nor The Band that pulled the heart strings.
Horrorwise it was short stories that moved me. I read The Rats of course and watched the generic films of the time - Rosemary's Baby, Exorcist, Hammer horror. House of Hammer, Wicker man, Casting the Runes. Whoops, starting to reminisce...
