Hello everyone - I've only just found out about this interesting looking board from Ian's post elsewhere. I recognise a few names from other boards I frequent! I haven't had time to look round here much yet, and I'm more of a short story fan than a full-length novel fan, but I see mention of short stories too so I hope there'll be something here for me. Basically, as far as reading is concerned, I'm a fan of Ramsey Campbell, DF Lewis, Stephen Gallagher, Mark Morris, MR James, Edgar Allen Poe, and others too numerous to mention. Film-wise (do you do films here too?), I'm into anything with Boris Karloff in it, Amicus portmanteau films and Hammer Horror. I do a little amateur writing, though I've never been paid for it - some fiction (mainly, flash fiction), but mostly non-fiction. I've so far had the pleasure of interviewing: Ramsey Campbell DF Lewis Stephen Gallagher Charles Black (Black Books of Horror) Peter Duffell (director, The House That Dripped Blood) Dick Mills (sound engineer, BBC Radiophonic Workshop - lots of Doctor Who credits to his name) plus four actors who've played Doctor Who monsters through the years (I'm a bit of a Doc Who fan too, but maybe I'd better not mention that ) Er, I think that's all about me for now. I look forward to virtually interacting with you all! ;D

Hi there Caroline and welcome to BHN. Possibly, the friendliest horror board on the internet.. Possibly.
It's great to have another northerner on BHN PLUS one from the right side of the Pennines!
YOU HEAR THAT STEPPENPUPPY?
Oh, how I hope the young lady finds the 'I win' thread.

Yep. the pretty little seaside town called Bradford. It's a small world - that's where I am too! (and they DID put a beach outside City Hall one time, didn't they?)

Thanks for the welcome, kind folks! I'm a little busy with work right now, but when I get the chance I'll be joining in fully and posting stuff. I've been looking for a nice, friendly horror board like this for some time.

Thanks for the welcome, kind folks! I'm a little busy with work right now, but when I get the chance I'll be joining in fully and posting stuff. I've been looking for a nice, friendly horror board like this for some time. Feels all warm and fuzzy, knowing he's created such a warm and fuzzy place where all the warm and fuzzy people can meet up and chat about warm and fuzzy things. *Waits for DLS to show up with his razor sharp kukri to slit open anything warm and fuzzy and spray the walls with their warm, wet, red insides.*

Evil potato salad that is. Potato salad that's on the run from the police for murdering and eating the health eating creamy coleslaw family.
