I adore The Flesh and the Fiends.
I don't adore Shatner. ;D

Fido - Canadian zombie comedy starring our very own Billy Connolly, on S A Robb's recomendation. Bloody good film this - set in an alternative 1950s America, after the Zombie War where zombies are kept as slaves/servants...and other things as well. A boy-and-his-dog movie with a difference. Well worth a look. And finally - with Zomcon, a company more evil than Tesco: www.zomcon.com/home.html

Yeah - that's a good one.
Tonight I watched Suffocation, from 2005. It's a "horror" film from China. One can debate how horrific the whole thing is (it has a brilliant touch of Poe's Tell Tale Heart about it) - but one thing is for certain, it's simply beautiful to watch. Stunning cinematography.
Enjoyed it - though it's understated and a bit strange.
Highly recommended.

Accion Mutante - 1993 Spanish sci-fi/horror/comedy about disabled terrorists fighting the perectly formed 'beautiful people' of a futuristic Earth.
Not as controversial - or as hilarious - as it could have been but worth a look.

Passengers - a Sixth Sense movie with a little spin. Lead actress is stunningly beautiful. Film is meh.
And Toxic Skies - an annoying by-the-numbers load of sentimental tripe. It beggars belief that I stuck through the whole thing. Awful.

Dead Snow.
Zombie Nazis. Crap.
Great tagline, though: Ein! Zwei! DIE!

Dead Snow. Zombie Nazis. Crap. Great tagline, though: Ein! Zwei! DIE! I have this to watch. Watched Drag me to Hell. Enjoyed it. Also watched 13: Game of Death, an enjoyable Thai film that questions what you would do for money.

Whoa there! Dead Snow is BRILLIANT. An absolute classic. Loved it to bits. Watched it two nights running. It's very tongue in cheek, with lots of good bits.

Just watched Wrong Turn 3.
Man, I love this series. The first was a classic backwoods slasher.
The second had a great sense of humor and tons of gore.
The third..... well, the gore is good fun - but they dropped the humor from the second one, which docs it a point. Still, there's plenty of good things to be seen.
There's even one horribly cheap and naff gore scene (limbs being severed0 with channeled 70's gore (in a good way).
All in all - good fun, if perhaps not as good as the second.
Now on to Doghouse.............................
ps: I gave up on Jennifer's Body..... I don't know, wasn't doing it for me.

The Cottage - little to recommend it to be honest. The humour is shallow, and the plot even thinner.
