The Mail and Express both say that up to 65,000 folks could die of swine Flu.
Still think that sniffle is nothing to worry about?

Worrying. Three cases have been reported in the care homes in Wallingford that my sister works in.
I'm expecting to catch it any day now.

The scare now seems to be over, until the winter sets in that is.

I know it sounds terrible, but a small part of me really wanted there to be an apocalyptic scale outbreak...

I just got over a bout of it, to be perfectly frank i thought "what was the f*cking point?" in the whole scare tactics. its ok to make people aware of it but putting people into a panic is just wrong.
for a start i just felt like i had a bout of flu and nothing worse (this was after my fiance caught it from 2 confirmed cases in her work) my dad who has a low immune system caught it and was fine after he was given the tammiflu and i was ok after about a week and a half. dont get me wrong i think its important that people know whats goping on and what to do if they get it, but as long as they say "Follow these guidlines and you'll be fine!"
My doctor even said its not quite as bad as the seasonal flu that goes around every year, how can it be THAT bad if the seasonal flu is wrose?? f*ckin idiots run this country, i'm surprised the houses of parliament isn't full of cries of "TIMMY!"
there i'm done now. sorry for the rant guys!
