This appeared on the radar today www.astrapublications.com/At first glance it looks like someone promising to set up a shitload of new pro markets, all at once. They've put listings up at Duotrope, and they are replying quickly to submissions, but I haven't heard of anyone getting an acceptance yet. It could be a scam of some kind, or a newbie who doesn't know what they're getting in to.... ... or it -could- be an opportunity to sell some stories. I'll be keeping an eye on them.

I've been following David Steffen's Facebook posts on this. Sadly, Willie, I suspect it's one of the former options. Too many red flags are being waved here.

Duotrope has all Astra publications listed as permanently closed, and the links to the original websites no longer work.
I guess that's that.... the quickest pro market collapses ever seen.
