I work as an editor (and do lots of other bis and pieces) for the independent press ChiZine Publications. We're based out of Canada, but we've just secured worldwide distribution. I know the North American market pretty well for who the big reviewers are (Quill & Quire, for example, and Publishers Weekly). Who does the same here? Where are the big places to try to get reviews from? Cheers! Helen chizine.com/chizinepubchiseries.blogspot.com

Hi Helen,
I do reviews for Amazon as part of the AmazonVine programme as well as for a number of publishers/authors where I post up the reviews on related forums etc. I am also in the process of putting together a new website which will host a large number of reviews for new & old horror novels. However, this site is unlikely to go live for another 12 months or so.
If you would like to have reviews posted up of any ChiZine Publications, then please feel free to get in touch with me.
All the best,
Chris

Certainly, we're interested in getting reviews out through Amazon and social media! I'm also interested in if there are any mainstream, high profile review places?
This reason for this, partially, is that I'm going to be meeting with some UK book sellers (Waterstones, etc.) to talk to them about carrying our books. As such, I'm trying to gather some information on places they'd be aware of so I can demonstrate we have an interest in the UK market.
