GUY N SMITH CONVENTION 2010 You know the score, 5th Sept 2010, 1pm onwards. Meet the man, meet other fans, get your stuff signed, chomp down some fine cuisine. Who's going this year then? ...I shall be attending, as is Adrian.

GUY N SMITH CONVENTION 2010 You know the score, 5th Sept 2010, 1pm onwards. Meet the man, meet other fans, get your stuff signed, chomp down some fine cuisine. Who's going this year then? ...I shall be attending, as is Adrian. And one extra incentive for those who live a great distance - we're trying to make a full weekend of it. Come up on the Saturday, booking a hotel and have a few beers in Knighton and then go to the Wain House on the Sunday. This way everyone can meet up and get to know each other the day before. It can be a bit nerve-wracking coming up if you don't know anyone, so we thought this would be a nice icebreaker.

Indeed! I shall be attending the night beforehand for a few swift ales and pre-convention chat.
I've never met any of the people on this forum or the GNS forum in real life, so the meet up is going to be mighty grand.
Oh...and Ade - I owe you a beer or two for all the favours I've requested from you over the last year!

ok so i guess you will need the numbers for the pubs around the area for rooms..... well there is the horse and Jockey 01547 520062 or the george and dragon 01547 528532. These are places in knighton for any others i will put more on tomorrow. The red lion is shut now so these are probably your best bet and i can say they are real nice.

Knighton hotel is under construction so thats not open. The best ones are the george and the jockey for knighton, In the centre of town. The plough is ok, the fleece always has people so it must be good. All i know is sat nights are good in both the pubs.
