It's a good question isn't it.
And welcome to the first group meeting of OA (Obsessive Anonymous)
Hi my name is Ian and I have a problem. I have a tendency to become obsessive about one subject, it will dominate my thoughts day in day out and this will go on for a few months until something else catches my eye and then... ooh! shiny thing! I realise that this happened here and I don't want it to happen again, I feel as I've let folk down by abandoning the board, so... I aim to put steps in place to prevent BHN from gathering dust in case my attention does wander off again.
But before I sign off... I'm sorry.

Hehe, don't be sorry, hun. Isn't it a writers duty to become obsessively knowledgeable about a range of subjects? So tell us, fearless leader, what did you learn in your soujourn away from the forum?
I have to apologise for not being around much either, folks. *is safe in the knowledge that no-one actually realised I was gone in the first place* I've been writing a bit here and there (an epic Being Human fanfic which is proving popular and dabbling in some old, forgotten ideas in the main) but mostly, I've been studying for a change of career. I'm hoping to be able to earn a living building and maintaining private websites for those who either don't have the knowhow or the time to do so themselves. That way, then, I hope to also be able to have a sideline in writing which I'll be able to promote on my own website. You know, anything to get out of warehouse work before it cripples me. ^^
Blast! Just realised that I missed the short story competition this time around. Pah! >< KC

Welcome back, KC. Good God, I thought purple text was hard on the eyes - now you're inflicting green on us! You work in a warehouse as well? I know what you mean, I want to get out as well. The worst thing about working in a werehouse is what it turns into on a full moon... ;D www.oldjokeshome.comDon't worry about missing the short story contest - now we're getting new life into the forum there'll be plenty more, I'm sure.
