A little late, I know and in no particular order, these books may not have been published last year, but hey I don't even know what day of the week it is let alone what year it is
Leather Maiden Joe R Lansdale
This was the last book I finished in 2009, great end to a great year of reading. Brilliant Texas Noir suspensfully, witty and a damn good read.
Tormentor Steven L Shrewsbury
Imagine
The Kult Shaun Jeffrey
A stellar example of what a serial killer novel should be like.
Blood Stained Oz James A Mooore
twisted evil take on the Oz novels
Death Tide Garry Charles
Arse exploding zombyfied folks cut off from the rest of civilisation, what's not to like
Samhane Daniel I Russell
Monster hunters trapped in a town of monsters, an extremely well written tale of full of twisted characters and dashes of sick humour
The Lightning Thief Rick Riordan
a fun read about the sons and daughters of the Greek Gods in modern day America
The Road Hole Bunker Willie Meikle
a fast paced read full of great characters, imagine Marlow set in St Andrews
Fear the Woods Book One: How to Make a Vampire Jerrod Balzer
first part in a new series, extremly well written new spin on vampires, the two lead characters really put me in mind of Hap and LEonard, so much so it made me go and buy a new Lansdale book.
99 Coffins David Wellington
It's vampires but not as we know them Jim
