Hi dude. Have you thought of composing a story for BHN? We have the short story thread - Here. britishhorrornovels.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=shortstoryHow this works... A subject is suggested by the last winner then we all write a story based on that subject. At the moment, we are in the process of voting for the best story (In fact while I'm on the subject, have a read then vote yourself! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- We also have the picture story - Here. britishhorrornovels.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pisstorThe premise is simple. Start a new thread in this section using some random picture as a starting point then members post a short story using the picture as inspiration. Note - Anyone can start a thread. Anyone can post a story!

I definitely think that writing and submitting some short stories for others to read on here will dramatically help you with your writing.
The next round in the short story competition will be starting soon(ish), so do join in.
Oh, and I left you some comments on the synopsis/snippet that you posted up. Hope it helps.

If you write a story - why not share it? If you're open to some discussion and debate about the work - then even better. All too common is people getting too "precious" about what they've written, and being afraid - or angered - by criticism. It's really not the way forward.
Have fun with your writing, enjoy the process, and enjoy some discussion.
The only exception to this would be professional/established writers. A "professional" writer I'd define as someone who's getting PAID to write. In such a case, you're taking money out of your bank for posting for free.
For the rest of us though, share and learn.

If he doesn't, it's all your fault. Nah mate....I'm the only reason people come to this forum. Besides, my feeback was mostly positive.

It's a problem with zombies - once the brain dribbles out the ears they go all forgetful :-)
