Life's pretty sweet when you come home from work and find a parcel containing GNS goodies and a note saying "happy birthday from Guy N Smith" waiting for you!!!
It's the little things that really make the difference...
Great day! Time for a tipple or two me thinks.

It's the little things that really make the difference... Great day! Time for a tipple or two me thinks. That's brilliant! Tell us what those goodies are, please! BTW, the new Graveyard Rendezvous is ready for publication. Questions on the GNS/Black Hill books Facebook page include: digital or print version - and A4 or A5 size. So, go on over - or email blackhill books with the answers.

A 'Fiend' fridge magnet, a 'N.O.T.C.' keyring, a GNS bookmark, a GNS mousemat and a note from Guy saying happy birthday! Top darts!!!! Ade - can you put a vote on FB for a print version rather than digital, from me and either A4 or A5 (I really don't care which)? I just frigging hate digital this and digital that!!!!! GR is on its way... Today just gets better and better!

Finished proof-reading a manuscript on the weekend (review to be posted up shortly). Started reading Rhys Thomas's second novel 'On The Third Day'. Post-apoc again (will I ever get bored with it?). Started off well so far. Suitably downbeat and depressing. Kind of like the first episode of Terry Nation's 'Survivors', David Moody's 'Straight To You' or Stephen King's 'The Stand'. Review to follow in due course...

Finished 'The Radleys' yesterday....yawn! Review's already up on Amazon.co.uk: www.amazon.co.uk/review/R2M32WUK5JBTWO/ref=cm_cr_rdp_permNot exactly bowled over by the book!!! Finally started reading Guy N Smith's 'Nightspawn' this morning. Already encountered a litany of typos etc. Also, the paragraph formatting has begun to annoy me somewhat. I'm beginning to side with Ade on this one...

Finished 'Nightspawn' on the weekend. I've reviewed it, but holding the review back for my website.
Started re-reading a few GNS classics to refresh my memory of them in preperation for the GNS Con (this is how utterly sad I am).
Enjoying every page of them!
See you on the flipside...

Off on hols to Machynlleth for the week. See you punks on the flipside... Oh, and be good whilst I'm gone. And don't stay up too late. You know Ian gets all cranky when he's over tired.
