For anyone who doesn't yet own a copy of GNS's debut novel 'Werewolf By Moonlight', I'm putting up a copy on eBay stating at just £14.99: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270472631850I recently managed to pick up another copy of it in better condition, so my first one is now going under the hammer... Two copies of Moonlight - that's just showing off

Look - it's the Ebay disease.
Fans ripping off other fans - legitimized by the "you can bid if you want" mentality.
He wasn't a charlatan - he's just typical of Ebay users. How can I make the most money from other fans? That's the question.
I prefer to trade on forums such as this. People who love the material sharing, swapping, and chatting.
Ebay is a big sink hole of money grubbers.

I used the word 'charlatan' because the going rate of Bamboo in excellent nick (which his copy certainly isn't) is around £15-20. That's what it's actually worth. To try rushing someone nearly fifty quid for something I for one wouldn't pay a fiver for is, IMHO, charlatanious. It's annoyed me so much I've even made up a new word Based on that fella's pricing model, the above copy of Moonlight must be worth about £950, because it's much much more hard to come by than Bamboo is.

It's worth what people are willing to pay. Ebay just pushes up prices, nothing more. It's not a true gauge of worth, only of what some mug is willing to pay.
I wasn't referring to DLS at all in my post, but Ebay, and the mentality of most of the people on it. I also said I prefer to use communities like this one.
So, I don't think the guy's a "charlatan" - he's just an Ebay user. Good luck to him, if he can find someone stupid enough to give up 50 quid..... isn't that the way things are these days?

My main objection is to people buying stuff on ebay, often outbidding real fans, then putting it back on at inflated prices a short while later. I utterly loathe the whole ebay ethos, whilst recognising that it's possible to turn up genuine bargains and find stuff you certainly wouldn't be able to via any other means. I thought they were supposed to be cracking down on the postage rip off - but you still see people charging ridiculous amounts to send a single paperback by standard mail.

Is there any particular GNS title that you have read over and over again?

Is there any particular GNS title that you have read over and over again? I've read N.O.T.C., Satan's Snowdrop & Bamboo Guerillas all twice. But that's it I think.

I think Satan's Snowdrop is considered to be one of his better stories and one that wasn't set on the welsh border!

Most of the Sabat books I re-read regularly - except the first one, Graveyard Vultures. Oddly, I found it the weakest one in the series.
Warhead and The Island are ones I keep returning to.

Because of your above comment, can I surmise that they are two of his better novels? Two of my favourites, yes. Warhead was quite a big seller in its day. Not everyone likes The Island though, quite a few are put off by the ending.
