Just a reminder for those of you who are on board for this project - John Prescott needs all submissions in by the end of July at the latest. Don't keep him waiting... Publication is aimed for 31st October, and if it goes well he's considering making it a regular event, so for those who didn't get in there'll be a slot available in the next volume.

Does anyone have a list of authors who are contributing?

I do and will be posting the contributors later this week. The stories I have received so far have been spectacular. This book is going to rock!

I'm doing K. What's everyone else here doing?
I've got mine to 5,018 words today. I've sent it to a friend to proofread, then I'll tweak and polish it. Fingers crossed I won't have to do a major rewrite.

I had 'W', so I wrote a tale about undead/zombie wild boar in Occupied France, WW2. Regarding what others are doing - I can't wait for John to release the list of contributors.

Was it inspired by this little beauty by any chance?: Nope, 'twas inspired by Bob McCammon's The Wolf's Hour and F Paul Wilson's The Keep. The greatest World War Two horror novels ever written, and I wanted a crack at that setting. And as I have a soft spot for zombie boars I just had to squeeze them in. ;D

Rakie - you're the creator of Terror Island. You'll be fine, mothwoman! i love you guys. <3 i got "R", and am currently very cross that there's already a film called Razorback, otherwise i probably would've gone the giant piggie route instead. At the moment i'm going for "Revenant" because, well, i like zombies. ;D If it all falls apart i may have to try something else tho.

My K is for Kul, a water demon. I'm not too confident about the story at the moment. Just had it back from a friend who thinks I should cut a scene. Hmmm... I need to rethink some of it. Good thing we've got until the end of July.
