Jennifer and me were watching it for a while, but I started getting bored shitless of the same old crud that goes on everyday.
Marcus has become such a wet child that I couldn't watch the screen without wanting to put my face through it. That Lisa beast is such a moronic waste of time and tax payers money. My god...I hate the lot of them.
So no. I'm not watching it anymore.
You?

I found the name of the show rather ironic when it first came out. All those advertising execs sat around the brain storming table and congratulating themselves on thinking up a really clever name yet not realising that the that majority of folk who were going to WANT to watch this mindless drivel wouldn't know 1984 if it strapped a cage to their face and let the rat loose!
Double plus ungood!

I think 1984 is on the school syllabus these days. Which in my opinion is a damn good move. Aldous Huxley's Brave New World would be an even greater step forward. Give the little blighters their first glimpse at a modern primitive.

yeah thats true, and its a shame as well. it mean that if their is a really cool TV show where the contestants are put through really dangerous challenges so that they may win to keep their lifes then it wont have a name!!
shower of bastards!

Thi is the kind of show that says a whole lot more about the audience than it does the show, or the contenders, themselves.

In my defence I liker watching it in the same way I like to sit and people watch in a pub.
Don't even think Perry Mason could save me with that defence

In my defence I liker watching it in the same way I like to sit and people watch in a pub. Don't even think Perry Mason could save me with that defence I think it's interesting to see the social interaction between these annoyingly vacant individuals and the various aspects that surround the idea of 24/7 filming of their lives. It's enjoyable in such a voyeuristic nature, with such cringe worthy characters literally playing out the roles that Big Brother chose them to do. It's like sitting & listening to a Hip Hop/R&B track just to laugh at all the song's ridiculous 'I'm such a cool gangsta' style lyrics. It's not that you actually think you can relate to any of the lyrics (or housemates)...it's just amusing to laugh at the things they come out with. Anyone who boasts how cool they are is more than likely an absolute idiot. However, I am the exception that proves the rule I'm afraid. But my god are all of the housemates stupid this year!
