Thanks Ceri. I've been thinking. Wouldn't it be great if their was a website where folk could upload their pictures of the GNS conventions past, present and future and also add their thoughts, comments and experiences! Something that WASN'T part of some social network site. You could send them to us, with your notes and we can put them on the fan club section of the gns website??? Up to you, Or plaster this board with them

Yeah - I was pretty damn chuffed when my sister anounced that the wedding was going to be put back. Disco dancing all night long I was!
We're going to stay at the same inn btw.
It's all good.

THAVMASSIOS! Great news, but... alas, does this mean we can't share a bed - er, I mean, a room at the Jockey next year? Yes, a room. That's what I said. A room, not a bed. Definitely not a bed... Happy New Year to you and yours, Chris. How was your own wedding - did you save us any cake? Ian's an icing man. Me, I prefer the marzipan...

Damn Ian and his pesky camera... Indeed, Mrs Hall and the gruesome twosome will be joining me, so our 'room' *cough cough* sharing will sadly not be possible this year. Perhaps the Woodheads... He he he!!!! Oh and yes, wedding cake is availiable for you good sir. Email or message me your home address and I'll post off a piece to you (as promised). Wedding went great thanks. Will post up a few pics when we get them. But yeah...all went well including my speech (which I was dreading).

I'll have to re-mortgage the house to stay at the hotel! Blinking flip, it's expensive.

I'll have to re-mortgage the house to stay at the hotel! Blinking flip, it's expensive. Spoken like a dour Northerner. I thought it was great value. Unlike some of the convention hotels in Nottingham and Brighton...Jesus, pricey AND shit.

Well (Cough) We've booked a room at the Knighton hotel for two nights. Oh, sorry - I thought you were talking about the Jockey. How much is the Knighton? And...when are you gonna join the British Fantasy Society? We need to see you at FCon this September. Dave Jeffery's gonna be there.

Why did you decide to stay at the Knighton Hotel instead of the Jockey (looked at the price difference online and its almost 3 times more expensive).
Jockey all the way for me and the family. Will book it up later on.
Ade - you doing the Jockey thang again too?

Two reasons. It's our wedding anniversary a few days after the con, so my wife decided to go upmarket. Also, she said the double bed was uncomfortable in the Jockey. I didn't really notice for some reason (hic)
