There does seem to be a lot of folk on here who really dislike his novels... So, How about you name me just one of his books that you disliked the least.

Don't get me wrong...I liked Erebus, Assassin, Deadhead, Compulsion & Necessary Evil (off the top of my head). Slugs was good for a giggle too.
But there are just so many authors out there who do splatterpunk so much better than Hutson....that's all.
But one thing I will say, is that when he writes a poor novel, he really writes a poor novel.

Yeah, I've got a copy of Hutson's 'Chainsaw Terror' but under its other title 'Come The Night' (it was retitled when it was released the following year). Typical Hutson splatterpunk fury.

I believe Come the Night may have been censored/edited. Chainsaw Terror is the version to plum for. Or not judging by all his negative comments here. As I said earlier he is for selected tastes, and is no way as talented as say Herbert,Koontz and King, but I applaud his longevity, his stubborn "f*ck you" attitude and the fact that we still see a book from him every year regardless even thouh he has made his money.
