Last one I read was Captain Scott, by Ranulph Fiennes. Brilliant stuff - and a healthy riposte to the Scott debunking that has been going on for too long.

I'm reading Robin Ince's Bad Book Club. Nice whole chapter dedicated to pulp horror of the 70s and 80s, with a large section on Guy N Smith, 'the pipe-smoking emperor crab of the macabre' it says here. Interestingly, the cover of the copy I have doesn't have him sitting on Crabs on the Rampage as pictured above. Instead, it's a mockup called Crustacean Attack by Ron B Waterman. Any ideas why that is?

When we first read it in Reader's digest it had this pictuer (features 2 of guy's i think). Guy contacted him about putting it in GR and we were allowed to, then the picture changed..... check GR35
