I remember seeing his first book Toady when it first came out in paperback about er 18 or so years ago. Loved the book and bought his next book "Stitch" when it came out in hardback a bit later. I followed him all the way up to Longbarrow which was in 97 I think, since then he just seemed to disappear. It wasn't until I got online when I discovered that he was part of the publisher horror murder in the late 90's.

Didn't he go away to write a couple of Dr Who novels?
I have Toady, Stitch, The Immaculate and Longbarrow on my shelves... I think he's got some new stuff coming from PS this year

I've got Deluge on my shelf Jim, I haven't got round to reading it yet. Is it any good? if there is going to be a sequal, then its a great read, if not, then its a good story let down by a poor ending and far too many unanswered questions.

Always loved MM's stuff, particularly the outstanding The Immaculate. I was baffled when he seemed to lose his way in late 90s, after a string of such strong novels.

And I'm going to be sharing space with him in an anthology. Whoo hoo! Gaslight Grotesque is an antho of horrific Sherlock Holmes tales coming from Edge Publishing in Canada. I'm in, alongside Mark Morris, Stephen Volk, James Moore, Barbara Roden and fellow GWPers Simon Kurt Unsworth and Neil Jackson among others. Today is a good day.
